Cockwomble

Fired CIA agents Sam and Jerry, casualties of a government purge, sit drinking and pointing an unloaded revolver at the president’s image on television, pulling the trigger again and again.

The momentary thrill gives way to a darker conversation: if the CIA played a role in the Kennedy assassination, could it plan the assassination of a sitting president and pin it on a patsy? There was one way to find out.

What begins as a dark thought experiment turns deadly serious when their mock operation uncovers evidence of a shocking abuse of power and a cover-up at the highest levels. Now they must decide: trust a broken system with the truth, or take justice into their own hands.

To stay off the feds’ radar, they assign the president a codename: Cockwomble.

*Cockwomble: A foolish or obnoxious person, often male, prone to making outrageously stupid or inappropriate statements while having an inflated sense of their own intelligence and importance. A completely useless person who spouts constant bullsh*t.
